Private Charters
Private Charters are available in either Fiordland or Stewart Island.
With Cruise Fiordland there is no specific day to day schedule on what you must do. We only take a maximum of 10 people on each Private Charter. Private charters can be aimed at a specific interest or even better a mixture of things. Anything from hunting, diving, fishing, sight seeing, kayaking, going ashore exploring, learning the history or just cruising. We take what you as a group are interested in and do our best to give you the experience of a lifetime.
While aboard you will have a twin share cabin (2 People to a Cabin) with attached private en suite bathroom and all bedding/linen is supplied. Also supplied by us is all the meals/food and non-alcoholic beverages. Alcohol is BYO and organised to be put on the boat prior to you arriving on board.
Further Information
Fishing
We are a registered Amateur-Fishing Charter Vessel Operator with the Ministry for Primary Industries and hold Environment Southland resource consent to operate in the Fiordland Marine Area. We are passionate about protecting our children's ability to fish, for generations to come. The taking of sea-life as well as being within the fisheries regulations, will only be taken to supplement meals for passengers whilst aboard the Cindy Hardy or to be taken home. The amount of fish taken for this purpose, methods used, and the locations fished, is solely at the skipper's discretion.

Hunting
All Hunters must provide a copy of Firearms Licence and Hunting Permit for the Area they wish to hunt before they can take firearms onto the Cindy Hardy. All firearms and ammunition are kept on board the Cindy Hardy in a locked gun cabinet in the crew’s quarters and will only be available for owner when going ashore to hunt and must be checked to be safe before boarding any aircraft or boats we provide.

Diving
Due to the new adventure activity regulations, we can only offer diving from the vessel under special new rules. While Cruise Fiordland supplies weights, tanks, and carries emergency oxygen equipment, our charters are not ‘guided’ diving trips. All Scuba divers must have a current diving ticket, be medically fit and accept that they are completely responsible for their own actions.
As per fishing charters above you can check out on MPI's website for catch allowances, rules etc.
